Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how CinemaDrop, LLC (“CinemaDrop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you use www.cinemadrop.com and our related products and services (the “Services”). It also explains the choices and rights that may be available to you.

This Policy applies to information we process as the business or controller. It does not govern a third party’s independent practices, including a website, social network, AI provider, or payment provider operating under its own privacy policy. Our Terms of Use, Disclaimer, and Safety, Copyright & Abuse Reporting Policy provide additional information.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following categories:

  • Account and identity information: name, email address, profile image, account identifiers, login-provider information, age or eligibility confirmations, and authentication and security records.
  • Billing, subscription, affiliate, and payout information: plan, purchases, credits, transaction status, billing contact details, referral and attribution data, and creator or affiliate payout information. Payment processors generally receive full payment-card or bank details directly; we typically receive limited transaction and account information.
  • Creative content and instructions: prompts, scripts, chats, project context or memory, uploads, reference images, videos, audio, voice recordings, voice models, generated outputs, edits, and related metadata.
  • Creator and social information: creator profile, handle, biography, avatar, campaign submissions, post URLs, connected or verified social accounts, and public channel or post data such as titles, descriptions, engagement counts, publication status, and platform identifiers.
  • Communications: support requests, legal or safety reports, survey responses, marketing preferences, and other messages you send to us.
  • Device, usage, and network information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages and features used, referring URLs, timestamps, approximate location inferred from IP, cookie or advertising identifiers, error reports, and security and activity logs.

Voice recordings and derived voice models may be considered sensitive or biometric information under some laws. We process them to provide the voice feature you request, not to authenticate or identify you, unless we clearly disclose another purpose and obtain any consent required by law.

2. Sources of Information

We collect information directly from you; automatically from your browser or device; from login, payment, affiliate, analytics, security, and service providers; from social platforms you connect or identify; from public webpages and social posts involved in creator verification or campaign review; and from other people who submit an authorized report or communication about you or your content.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the Services, including generating, editing, storing, and delivering requested media;
  • create and secure accounts, authenticate users, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot errors, and enforce usage limits;
  • process subscriptions, credits, refunds, affiliate attribution, creator earnings, payouts, taxes, and related records;
  • operate creator profiles, campaign submissions, social-account verification, support, and communications;
  • moderate content, investigate reports, address copyright or safety complaints, preserve evidence, and enforce our agreements;
  • analyze performance and usage, develop features, and conduct internal research and quality review;
  • send service, security, transactional, and—where permitted—marketing communications; and
  • comply with law, respond to lawful process, protect rights and safety, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

4. AI and Media Processing

When you use an AI or media feature, we process your Inputs and related instructions to produce the requested Output. Depending on the feature selected, relevant content and technical information may be sent to third-party model or media providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Replicate, fal.ai, Kie.ai, ElevenLabs, Fish Audio, or replacement providers. We also use hosting and delivery providers to store and transmit content.

Providers, models, and their terms can change. Their retention and use of submitted content may vary based on the product, account arrangement, and provider policy. Do not submit personal, confidential, biometric, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for the feature, you have authority to provide it, and you are comfortable with this processing. We may use automated systems and limited human review to detect abuse, investigate problems, evaluate quality, or comply with law.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

  • Infrastructure and operations providers, including Amazon Web Services, CloudFront, Google/Firebase, search, database, security, and customer-support vendors.
  • AI and media providers, including the providers described above, when needed to perform the feature you request.
  • Payments, payouts, email, and affiliate providers, including Stripe, Loops, and Rewardful, to process transactions, communications, referrals, and program administration.
  • Analytics, embedded-content, and anti-abuse providers, which may include Google services such as tag-management, reCAPTCHA, and YouTube features.
  • Other users and the public, when you deliberately publish content, maintain a public creator profile, submit content to a public campaign, or use a public sharing feature.
  • Professional advisers and transaction parties, such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, lenders, or parties to a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale.
  • Authorities and affected parties, when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and the integrity of the Services.

We may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent.

6. Public Content

Information you deliberately publish may be viewed, copied, indexed, or reshared by others. Public creator profiles may display a handle, display name, biography, avatar, social links, and campaign information. Publicly shared projects or media may reveal associated prompts, references, or metadata depending on the feature. Removing information from our Services may not remove copies made by other people or search engines.

Do not publish personal information or content belonging to another person without permission. To report public content, use our reporting instructions. For nonconsensual intimate imagery, including an AI-generated or altered depiction, use our Take It Down process.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Referral Technology

We and our providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication and security; preferences and functionality; performance and analytics; affiliate referral attribution; and marketing where used. For example, Rewardful may set or read referral information, and Google services may receive device and usage information when their features load.

You can control cookies through your browser and any privacy controls we make available. Blocking necessary technology may prevent parts of the Services from working. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message. Our Services may not automatically respond to every “Do Not Track” signal. Where applicable law requires us to recognize a browser-based opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we will treat supported signals as required for that browser or device.

8. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly enough to include certain analytics, referral, or advertising disclosures made in exchange for services or other value. If our use of a technology falls within one of those definitions, you may opt out as provided by applicable law by contacting support@cinemadrop.com and using available browser or site privacy controls. We do not knowingly sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising the personal information of people under 18.

9. Retention and Account Closure

We retain each category of personal information for the period reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. We consider the duration of your account or project, the sensitivity and volume of the information, operational and security needs, provider and backup cycles, legal limitation periods, financial and tax rules, pending disputes, safety reports, and deletion requests.

Account and project information is generally kept while your account or the relevant project remains active. Billing, tax, payout, consent, safety, fraud-prevention, and legal records may be retained longer when necessary to meet legal or evidentiary obligations. Backup copies and information held by providers may remain for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

Closing or deactivating your account stops or limits access but does not, by itself, guarantee deletion of every record or provider copy. To request deletion of personal information, email support@cinemadrop.com. We will verify and process the request subject to applicable exceptions, such as completing transactions, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and establishing or defending claims.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to know or access personal information; correct inaccurate information; delete information; receive a portable copy; restrict or object to processing; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and withdraw consent. You may also have a right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.

Submit a request to support@cinemadrop.com and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity and authority using information associated with your account. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization and direct identity verification. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. You may also complain to your state attorney general or local data-protection authority.

California residents may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the sources and purposes, and the categories of recipients, as well as exercise applicable correction, deletion, opt-out, limitation, and nondiscrimination rights. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

11. International Users and Legal Bases

If you are in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on one or more legal bases: performing our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and supporting the Services; your consent; and compliance with legal obligations. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier processing. Where based on legitimate interests, you may object in circumstances provided by law.

We are based in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other countries whose laws differ from yours. Where required, we use an approved transfer mechanism, such as standard contractual clauses or another legally recognized safeguard. You may contact us for information about applicable safeguards or complain to your local supervisory authority.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized use. We will provide legally required security-incident notices within the time and in the manner required by applicable law.

13. Children

The Services are for people age 18 and older. We do not knowingly offer the Services to or collect personal information through the Services from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact support@cinemadrop.com. Reports involving sexual imagery of a minor should follow the urgent instructions in our Safety Policy and should not include copies of the imagery.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the updated version and effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. If a change requires consent, we will request it. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
