Generate Expressive Speech Using "Text to Speech" AI Voice Generator
This guide offers a step-by-step approach to creating expressive speech with text using AI. It covers everything from selecting a voice to adjusting tone settings and generating audio.
1. We will start with a new storyboard. Click on the "Speech" button at the bottom of Shot 1 to show speech generation text box and options.

2. Upon clicking, you will see text box where you can enter the text to convert to speech.

3. But first, we will click "Select" to select a voice.

4. You'll see a list of available voices. Click "Sample" next to any voice to hear a preview, then select your preferred one and click "Use Voice."

5. When you click, the modal will close, and the selected voice will be added to the speech menu for Shot 1. Then, click the square icon in the bottom-right corner to open an advanced menu with additional options.

6. Here, you can select a voice from the left menu.

7. You can adjust the voice stability setting based on your needs — from Creative to Natural to Robust — depending on the desired tone and consistency.

8. Click on the text box to start typing, use [brackets] for expressive speech.

9. For our example, we will type "I can't believe he said that, [laughing] that's the funniest thing I've heard all day."
10. Click "Generate Speech"

11. Once your speech is generated, click the play button to hear it.

12. You can also download the generated audio file by clicking on download button.

13. If you like the generated speech, you can simply click on the "X" button to close the modal. The latest generated speech will automatically be added to your shot inside your storyboard.

14. Here you can see, the same text we typed for generating our speech, also appears inside our shot.

15. You can preview the speech anytime by clicking on the play button.

16. If you want to re-generate the speech, you can click on the highlighted button next to "Play"
